The Acupuncture Point is led by Catherine Laverty RGN (retired), Dip Ac, ND.
Catherine qualified as a Registered Nurse in her native Australia in 2001. Since then she has worked in many specialty areas of medicine including Theatre, Palliative Care, caring for adults with autism, and Endoscopy.
Catherine obtained a Diploma in Acupuncture and Naturopathy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010. A commitment to continued learning has led her to being awarded numerous post graduate Acupuncture qualifications in areas such Obstetrics, Women’s Health, Tongue Diagnosis Workshop, Cosmetics and Facial Rejuvenation. Catherine has lectured extensively and has authored several learning modules for third level acupuncture courses in the College of Naturopathic Medicine.
